![]() ![]() You can also catch her every holiday season in reruns of "A Very Brady Christmas." Carol has been a Super Star in the Real Estate industry in Los Angeles for over fifteen years now. She can be seen regularly in reruns as a guest star on some of your favorite TV shows. She was a series regular and performed weekly with Andy Griffith in "Matlock" as his investigator. She also received a recording contract for her singing and has done many voice-overs for radio and television. ![]() She worked with Paul Newman and Tom Cruise in "The Color of Money," Tom Hanks and Jackie Gleason in "Nothing in Common." Then she moved to Hollywood! Carol has starred in many television series, miniseries, movies of the week and commercials as well as the silver screen. Starting in Chicago, Carol performed at the Goodman Theater. She performed all over America always appreciating the diversity of regional architecture and the contrasts in real estate opportunities from city to city. We are lucky to have the Hospice room at SMGH available for privacy and supportive care for families in need when their loved one is ill.Carol Grace Huston navigated herself into the real estate industry through show business. She and Larry raised three boys and she proudly referred to them as "My Three Sons"! To honour Carol's life, a private graveside service will be held for her immediate family only. Carol's greatest accomplishment, however, was her family, her boys and their families. Many local residents will remember Carol as their school bus drivers during their elementary school years at Caradoc South Public School. In her younger years Carol worked dispatch for the Caradoc Ekfrid Telephone Company and at the Strathroy Police Department. A wizard at the newspaper crossword and word scramble puzzles. She tried her hand at quilting and spent many hours crafting lap blankets for Alzheimer patients. She created many beautiful knit garments for her grandchildren and others to wear. Carol was an avid knitter and enjoyed knitting baby blankets, sweaters, hats and booties. Carol spent many years riding the spectator bench at ball diamonds and ball parks across Ontario supporting Coach Larry and her boys during the Melbourne Merc fastball days and years. Pre-deceased by her parents, Fredrick (1988) and Eleanora (1978) Griffiths, many aunts and uncles and her grandson, Thadius Kenneth (Tad) Huston (2000). Cherished GG to her first great grandchild, Charlotte Rose Huston. Grandmother of Wesley (Brittany), Lyndsay (Jason), Quinton (Taylor), Madeline, Peyton, Kelvin and Curtis. Mother of Michael James (Ruth), Jeffrey Allan, and Gregory Todd. Beloved wife of Larry (Lawrence James) Huston for 61+ years. Quietly at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Hospice Care, Carol Ann Huston (nee Griffiths), in her 80th year was called home on May 25, 2023. ![]()
